Whitley really didnt play well at all against Trafford, didnt get their act together till the third period!!

But as season draws to close, whats the situation for us now!!

One game away against Nottingham

and then Telford at home!!

Obviously two wins would be superb but realistically whats the prediction!!

Sitaution's simple - we need a point from our last two games to guarantee 6th place.

If Manchester don't win v Coventry next weekend though it won't matter. Basically Manchester must take 4 points from their last two games (Cov H and A) and us none, for Manchester to make the playoffs and push us into the relegation playoffs.

Any other permutation of results sees Hawks finish above the Mets.

If the sides are tied on points Hawks finish above Mets as we've won 3 of the 4 games between the two sides this season.

The most likely out come is that we'll finish 6th and go into a playoff group with Nottingham and probably Coventry, although it could be Telford who could snatch 4th, rather than the Blaze.

If the result on Sat goes our way and the play-offs are achieved by Trafford not winning their game - will the coach be tempted to put some players in 'cotton wool' to ensure they do not reach a points total which might see them be suspended for the play-offs, or would it be a negative which might spoil the momentum of the side. Of course its all conjecture, we might need that final point and Sheffield would be a great place to get it
