Change of Direction for Hawks

Full 9 Yards Sponsored Blackburn Hawks are announcing a change of direction in the make up of the Hawks management structure.

With immediate effect Steven Duncombe has been released as Head Coach of the team.

James Neil will step up from Assistant to Head Coach/Player.

Bobby Streetly will assume duties of assistant coach and continue as a player when he has recovered from his injuries.

Phil Kennedy will continue as Level 2 Bench Coach and Don Lennon as Performance Director and Physio.

Hawks’ John Neville commented: “A change of direction has been on the cards for some time. We need to be fulfilling our potential and move up the table prior to the end of season play-offs. Management are also doing their utmost to recruit a couple of players to boost the squad. I have never known so many serious injuries at one time.”

Blackburn Hawks would like to go on record thanking Steve Duncombe for his hard work and efforts and wish him well in the future.
