Face of is at the usual Sunday time of 1730hrs with doors opening at 1645hrs.

Three to watch on the Solihull Barons roster.

Marcus Maynard – Defence

An experienced blue-liner who has chalked up over 250 games in the EPL with Hull and Telford. Prior to that he had a season in the Elite League with his hometown Nottingham Panthers.  A steady D man who often pops up on the offensive blue line for a shot.

Filip Supa

A Slovakian import who scored for fun in NIHL2 for Widnes Wild, Deeside Dragons and Chelmsford Chieftans. Last season he played 15 games for Telford before moving to Solihull.

Matthew Maurice

Coventry youngster who is on a two way with Coventry Blaze. Scored 11 goals and 10 assists in 30 games last season for the Barons.

After a tough loss at home to Telford, where they outplayed the visitors for much of the game, the team pulled off an excellent win up in Whitley Bay. Adam Barnes made his debut for the team and hit a superb hat trick to help the team get the two points.

With Barnes looking good, Danny Nomanovas finding form and James Royds and James Riddoch getting goals, Hawks have a pretty potent offence. The D are playing their part as well with young kid on the block Harrison Walker putting in great performances between the pipes. Not forgetting solid play by Bobby Streetley and the rest of the blue-liners.

All in all the team is looking balanced and with the determination showed last weekend, things are on the up for the Hawks.

Solihull cannot be taken lightly but Hawks will be looking for a win in their only game of the weekend.
