Young Guns Sports Announced as Hawks Team Shirt Supplier for 2018 / 19
The Blackburn Hawks are pleased to announce that Young Guns Sports (YGS) will become their kit supplier from next season in a multi-year partnership that has become the biggest in the history of the club. YGS will supply shirts for both the NIHL 1 and 2 teams.
Young Guns Sports are a new company to the supply and manufacture of ice hockey apparel but are part of Specialised Canvas Services (SCS), a multi-million pound company who also operate the Bannerbox brand. Based in Chesterfield, with all their materials sourced in the UK, YGS are a British company seeking to have a big impact.
Speaking on behalf of YGS, Rob Shelton said, ‘We are very excited to agree a multi-year deal with the Hawks, this is a fantastic opportunity for us. At YGS, we value our players and fans alike. We have been involved with hockey both as players and fans for the last 20 years. Therefore, we pride ourselves on manufacturing products of the highest quality in our UK factory and delivering them within 15 days of orders being placed. We are fully committed to developing a great working partnership with Planet Ice and to establishing our brand as a reliable and trusted name in Ice Hockey’.
The deal will also see Young Gun Sports selling ice hockey apparel through all Planet Ice rinks enabling ice hockey teams to purchase playing apparel and merchandise at an incredibly competitive rate when compared to other suppliers.
