Introducing your new Match Night Co-ordinators

Chris Riley is the new Match Night Co-ordinator for the coming season for your “Full 9 Yards” Blackburn Hawks. Chris has been a fan of the Hawks since 1993 and previously worked on school and community relations with the club.

Chris said,” I have always had the idea that the match night experience could be improved and after talks with John Neville offered some ideas. It is a new direction for the club and one that will enhance game night for all concerned.”

Carl Everitt has joined the team as Assistant Match Night Co-ordinator and will be helping Chris bring together all aspects of the Match Night Experience.

Carl, like many of the volunteers first came to the rink a few years ago with a friend and decided he wanted to learn to skate. Hockey followed, and Carl now plays for a couple of the Recreational teams that play out of the arena. He is now a fanatical Hawks fan and has served on the Supporters Club committee.

Carl commented,” I am really passionate about helping to deliver a great match night experience for fans and players alike on game night.”

John Neville commented, “I’d like to thank all the members of our new match night team, the meetings we have held over the past few months have been very rewarding and professional and we can’t wait to welcome fans both new and existing to the arena for what is surely going to be an exciting night of ice hockey entertainment”.
