Steelers Recall Brown & Send to Sting
The Full 9 Yards Blackburn Hawks are very disappointed to have to announce that this evening they have had to release young British forward Keiran Brown from the club.
A call was made by the Steelers organisation to Hawks John Neville confirming that the Steelers have agreed to allow Keiren to play for Sutton Sting, one of the Hawks rivals in NIHL North 1, in return for Sutton’s oversea player, Jonas Fredriksson, joining the Steelers as injury cover.
Obviously the Hawks are very disappointed about the decision the Steelers have made, but do understand that the player belongs to Sheffield and they have to do what’s in their best interest for the good of their business.
It is not yet known whether or not Keiran will return to the Hawks if Fredriksson returns to the Sting but it is something we will be striving for.
The coaching team, players and Hawks management would like to thank Keiran for his contribution this season and wish him every success for the future and reiterate we are keen to see him back in a Hawks jersey at some point this season.
