It’s great to have Josh back in Blackburn for another season, here is what Dom has to say.

I cannot express how excited I am to welcome Josh back. Josh has come in and started making waves the minute he stepped on the ice. He knows how valuable ice time is for development but he also knows the work and commitment needed to earn that time. He has earned it!

Josh was a player that understood when making the transition to senior hockey it was not going to be an easy task. His effort and dedication to invest in his development is something that we saw and we will see him climb the ranks quickly. He is establishing himself by not taking any shortcuts and putting in the time. Putting in the time to get experience by playing competitive hockey games next to competitive players. He has seen a lot of icetime next to special teams and will continue to grow as a big part of our team this year.

We’re looking to see Josh take some serious steps this season now that he knows the league and is comfortable with his teammates. His performance kept growing up towards the end of the season and proves the time he has put in has paid off. We have an exciting little crop of young players coming in to join Josh and can definitely learn from him. Great to have you back Josh.
