Another signing we know the Hawks fans have been waiting for, but the wait is over. Read what Dom has to say on Barnes staying at the Hawks.

Again I don’t think I have to say how exciting it is to be able to have Adam back with us. He had a tough start with a couple injuries just as he started to get going last year. The way he came back from injury was absolute fire. It shows how resilient Adam really is.

He’s an incredible offensive threat in our league and a nightmare for goalies including our own in training. I think it took him a minute to adjust to the league but once he found his feet he started to fly. We quickly realised the chemistry he had with Ridz and Royds and it’s great to have that line together again along with the Jake, Pollitt and Crawley line for that one-two punch.

This season I think we will see him get off to a flying start along with a couple others who are now adjusted and know what we’re getting into. With this signing it completes the top 10 forwards we plan to play with the majority of the season. We have three very strong lines and still looking to announce a couple more guys to bring up the rear and step in when needed.

I’m super excited to be able to play in front of the hawks fans again for the 24/25 season! Dom and Ollie have had a busy summer putting together another strong squad and I can’t wait to get back on the ice with the boys and build on from last seasons success. 88
