Graham Smith joins the Board of Directors.

Evermax Events Ltd (Trading as Blackburn Hawks) are delighted to be able to announce that Graham Smith has agreed to join the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Upon his appointment Graham Lomax (current Board member) commented:

“Were delighted Graham has decided to join us, his passion for the club is there for all to see, his presence has been noticeable at most games both home and away over recent seasons and he brings to the table another dimension to an already passionate set up, his business experience will definitely help keep the business moving in the right direction.

I’ve personally known Graham for a long time; over the years he’s helped the club out in various areas including sponsorship and employing overseas players, we’re delighted to have him onboard, and we’re sure he’ll be a true asset, he has all the attributes which we look for.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵…

I have been a fan of Blackburn Hawks for around 15 years and attended games as and when I could. Over the years, the passion and commitment grew and myself, my wife and our 2 daughters have been season ticket holders, attending both home and away games consistently.

I have supported the club in various capacities from employing players, to club sponsorship and more recently supporting one of the players to live with our family to enable them to be close to the nest.

I have lots of experience in my professional career, that will allow me to transfer my knowledge and skills to further enhance the board of directors.

I am very happy and proud to be given the opportunity to be joining the board, as a director. I am confident that I am joining a well established board, and together we share the passion and vision to take the club forward and to have a successful season.

I am excited for the season ahead, and can not wait for the team to be back on the ice. I look forward to cheering the team on from the stands after a busy off season.
