𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗼𝗺…

Liam was a guy we picked up late last season. He fit right into the room with the boys. He’s a player who doesn’t take a night off and rarely loses battles—something we’ll be emphasizing with the group this season.

I don’t think Liam had a fair crack at it, as he had a bit of bad luck with a couple of injuries and literally played in the playoffs with a broken hand.

It was essential to get him back for this season, and we’re really lucky to have him. Like Liam no doubt feels, we believe he’ll be a massive asset now that he’s with us from the start. These are the types of players we need to make sure we retain to help us stay competitive at the top of the table.

It’s a lot of fun playing in Blackburn, the fans are loud, there’s a good group of guys in the room and everybody buys in.

To finish last season with no silverware left us disappointed, but it’s definitely sparked a fire in the team and I’ve got big expectations for this season.
