Blackburn Hawks Welcome Jackson Ahead of 2026–27 Season

The Blackburn Hawks are delighted to announce the signing of Jackson ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.

Coach Andy:

I’m very pleased to welcome Jackson to the Blackburn Hawks. He’s got a great personality and he’ll fit into our room straight away — even though he’s from the USA, it might take him a while to get up to speed with the British humour!

I’ve watched a lot of video on Jackson, and I’ve also had positive recommendations from players that I have played with who have also played with him — small world.

Last season we very much lacked secondary scoring. Although we had a cracking season and only lost six games, in those six losses we needed something special — a game changer. If our first line wasn’t firing, we struggled and didn’t know where the goals would come from, which became even more prevalent after Jakey’s injury in December.

I have full confidence in Jackson to be that game changer, and I hope the Hawks community makes him feel very welcome and right at home.

Jackson is eager to begin his professional career in Blackburn and is excited about what lies ahead:

“I am very thankful to the Blackburn Hawks for giving me this opportunity. I am looking forward to starting my professional hockey career in Blackburn. I’m excited to join such a successful organisation, and I believe I can help the team win more championships in the 2026–27 season. I can’t wait to get started. See you soon.”

Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Jackson to Blackburn and seeing him hit the ice in Hawks colours.
