Bobby Streetly Returns to the Hawks.

The Blackburn Hawks are delighted to announce the return of Bobby Streetly for the upcoming season.

A key figure on and off the ice, Bobby’s presence on the back end continues to be a major asset for the Hawks as they look to build on recent success.

Head Coach Ollie shared his thoughts on the returning defenceman:

“Bob is one of the favourite people I’ve worked with in the game, both as a teammate and as a coach. He’s a very important piece for us at the back, and I’m delighted he’s agreed to return.

He’s a guy who’s played a lot of games and knows what it takes to get results. Bob is highly respected in the room and is a key member of our leadership group. Crossy has developed into the player he is today by being alongside a senior pro like Bob.

We lean on players like Bobby to log heavy minutes, especially in the big games and down the stretch. We’re lucky to have players who can lock it down and get the job done.

Welcome back, Bob.”

Bobby is equally excited to be returning to Blackburn:

“Super excited to be back again! What we’ve built over the last couple of years is special and something that is hard to walk away from. Speaking with Andy and Ollie, the changes they’re making will take us to another level and keep us challenging for every trophy available.

The setup is second to none and I can’t wait to get back on the ice in September.”

With leadership, experience, and reliability at the heart of the defence, Bobby’s return is another major boost as the Hawks prepare for the season ahead.
