HAWKS WELCOME JOSH MILNES ON TWO-WAY DEAL WITH ALTRINCHAM ACES

The Hawks are delighted to announce the signing of Josh Milnes on a two-way agreement with the Altrincham Aces ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Coach Oll:

“Hard work, dedication and loyalty are three factors we believe in as a club, and Josh has shown he possesses all three. The results with the Altrincham Aces speak for themselves.

“After speaking with Tev and Greavesy, we’re delighted to welcome Josh into the Hawks fold on a two-way deal. The Aces have assured us he’ll continue to play in all situations, with special teams a high priority, which is exactly what he needs for his development.

“We’ll bring Josh into our roster whenever the Aces don’t have a game, and we’re excited to watch him continue to grow at NIHL1 level. Coming from a great family who have followed the Hawks for many years, I know his parents will be incredibly proud to see him skate out in a Hawks jersey.

“Welcome to the Hawks, Josh.”

Josh is equally excited to begin the next chapter of his hockey journey.

Josh Milnes:

“Signing on a two-way with the Hawks is the next step in my development. I’ve been a Hawks fan since I was six years old, so it’s really exciting to be on the other side of the glass and have the chance to play in front of the Hawks fans.

“I’m looking forward to learning from everyone around me, continuing my development with both clubs, and hopefully helping the team have another successful season. And if we can win a couple more trophies along the way, that wouldn’t be too bad either!”

Everyone at the Hawks would like to welcome Josh to the club and wish him every success in black and gold this season.
