Welcome to Blackburn, Riley!

We’re delighted to welcome defenceman Riley to the Blackburn Hawks, who joins us this weekend on a two-way arrangement with Peterborough.

Riley will be available for Saturday’s game, with the agreement also allowing him to join the Hawks for future fixtures that don’t clash with his Peterborough commitments.

Riley:
I’m really excited to have the opportunity to play for Blackburn. I can’t wait to meet the lads and get out there for my first game on Saturday.

Andy:
We’ve been short on the back end since the start of the season, so I’ve been actively looking to recruit a defence man.

After speaking with coaches at national level, Ash Tait was pleased to offer Riley for this weekend and on a two-way basis for any future fixtures that don’t clash with his Peterborough commitments.

A former GB U16, Riley is an exciting prospect and we’re really happy to welcome him to the Hawks organisation.
