Starting the signing season off with a bang! Returning for another season its the one and only the King of Blackburn, Adam Barnes.
Player Coach Andy McKinney has the following to say on the return of Adam.
Barnesy was obviously the first guy we wanted to secure for the coming season. He’s a local lad who embodies everything this club is about, and he had a cracking year, scoring over 50 goals across the regular season and playoffs – an amazing achievement, only bettered by a couple of imports in the race for the scoring title.
What impressed me most last season wasn’t just his offensive output, but the way he developed the all-round side of his game. His dedication to the defensive side, his work ethic every night, and the example he sets around the dressing room made him a huge part of our success. He’s become a massive part of what we’re building here, and we’re delighted to have him back for another season.

I’m really excited to be back with the Hawks for the 26/27 season. We’ve been incredibly successful over the past few years, and the coaching changes sound like the start of an exciting new chapter for us. See you in September!
