Everyone at the Hawks are excited to welcome Jackson to Blackburn.
Words from Coach Andy:
I’m delighted to welcome Jackson to the Blackburn Hawks. He’s got a great personality and I know he’ll fit straight into our dressing room. Even though he’s from the USA, it might just take him a little while to get up to speed with British humour!
I’ve watched a lot of video on Jackson and have also received some very positive recommendations from players I’ve played with who have also shared a dressing room with him – it’s a small world.
Last season, we lacked secondary scoring at times. While we had a fantastic season and only lost six games, those defeats highlighted the need for something extra – a game-changer. If our first line wasn’t firing, we sometimes struggled to find goals, and that became even more evident following Jake’s injury in December.
I have full confidence that Jackson can be that difference-maker for us. He brings skill, energy, and a real attacking threat, and I’m excited to see what he can do in a Hawks jersey.
I hope the entire Hawks community gives Jackson a warm welcome and makes him feel right at home here in Blackburn.
Jackson added:
I am extremely grateful to the Blackburn Hawks for giving me this opportunity. I’m looking forward to beginning my professional hockey career in Blackburn and can’t wait to get started.
I’m excited to join such a successful organisation with a proud history, and I believe I can help the team compete for more championships during the 2026/27 season.
I can’t wait to meet the fans, my teammates, and everyone involved with the club. See you all soon!
