Blackburn HAWKS are pleased to announce the return of key forward Myles Dacres for the 2013/14 season.

Dacres, who joined Blackburn from the Bradford Bulldogs, is a bright prospect for both the Hawks and his country having represented Great Britain on five occasions last season and player-coach Jared Owen is confident the young forward will have an exciting year:

“Myles was new to the league last season and after an initial bedding in period where he got used to the differences from NIHL 1 to division 2 and under 18’s he really began to contribute to the team offensively.

“11 goals in your first season is very respectable in this division and I’m looking to Myles to make himself a key part of this teams forwards in the upcoming season.

“He has all the talent, size and speed and if he brings his ‘A-game’ to the rink every time we play it will be an excellent year for him.”

More signings are set to be announced later this week and as always will be announced on the website, the club’s official Facebook page and Twitter.
