The HAWKS make the long journey north to face the Solway Sharks later today, hoping to continue their perfect start to the season in their second Challenge Cup fixture.

On Sunday, Blackburn return to the Ice Arena to host the Whitley Warriors in the Moralee Conference. The match is being sponsored by Darwen based Riverside Garden Centre and Landscapes, who will sponsor the Hawks jerseys for the next two seasons.

The company, which provides garden plants, pottery, gardening accessories, tools and landscaping, will sponsor the Hawks as part of its commitment to supporting the local community.

Graham Smith (pictured with Hawks Captain, Chris Arnone and Adam Brittle) from Riverside Garden Centre said: “Riverside Garden Centre and Landscapes are very proud to be a sponsor for the next two seasons.

“We pride ourselves on supporting local clubs and businesses and we hope to maintain this strong and growing relationship over many years.

“We wish the hawks every success for the upcoming season and the very exciting times ahead. Everyone at Riverside is looking forward to it immensely.

“Come on you Hawks!”
