The Blackburn HAWKS can confirm that defenceman Scott Robson has joined EPL side, Peterborough Phantoms, on a two-way deal with the Hull Stingrays.

Robson joined the Hawks for the 2013-14 on a similar deal, making an immediate impact against local rivals Manchester, which saw him take the puck the full length of the ice to round the netminder for his first tally of the season.

Speaking on social media, Scott said: “I’d like to say how much I enjoyed my time at Blackburn – playing in front a huge, loyal fan base every game.

“I owe a lot to Jared and the boys for developing me further in my hockey, and also to the guys who helped me get to practice and certain games. I met some great people in Blackburn and I can’t fault a single thing at all.

“It is a really great setup, and I hope the boys can get the job done next season – what everyone involved rightly deserves.”

Everyone at the Blackburn Hawks wishes Scott all the very best with his new team and would like to thank him for all his efforts over the past season.
