𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗼𝗺…

Jakub came onto my radar shortly after the season ended. As we continue to build, and with the league sticking to the two-import rule, we felt we could strengthen the lineup by bringing him in. I’ve spoken before about the importance of quality in depth, and Jakub fits that mold perfectly.

I’ve watched him play against us for Deeside and was impressed by his style. He plays an aggressive game around the puck—wins races, battles hard, and just skates with relentless effort. What really stood out to me, though, is how he plays in front of the net. He has a strong presence there, and when he gets into those areas, as we can count on him doing, he knows how to finish.

When Jakub became available, it didn’t take long for us to reach an agreement. He’s hungry to win. He wants a real shot at silverware this season, and I believe he’ll help us in the quality-in-depth department, while we give him the platform to achieve that goal.

He’s a player who can slot in anywhere across the lineup, and that’s something we’ve been missing. With the group he’ll be playing alongside, I’m confident he’ll elevate their game and they’ll elevate his. I believe Jakub is going to have a big year. The atmosphere we’ve built in the room will help keep him performing at the top of his game, just like it has for the rest of the team.
